Winning
an award from CCMNI's 2004 International Talent Contest
was just one of the many recent achievements by
rampaging electric guitarist Joe Horn.
After
forming the alternative group Triple Threat in 2003
following an eight year hiatus (during which time he
perfected his explosive guitar style), Joe has released
his first collection of all-original music, including
the song that earned him the 2004 award,
Borrowed
Time.
Recently
making waves with the stirring tribute to D-Day veterans
in "Who
Will Remember Their Cause?"
(veterans can receive a free copy of the single by
emailing and requesting it), Joe is touring the western
states with Triple Threat, combining blues, pop rock and
country to create a high-octane performance that's
quickly building the group's reputation as the next
Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble.
Joe,
seen here with Jimi Vaughn, either wrote or co-wrote all
of the songs that appear on the group's new album. He is
happy to share the spotlight with his partners in rhyme,
for they are, as he likes to say, "as real as
raw."
